On Saturday 10th of July 2020,I met a man who lost all he worked for last year .

In March 2021, caterpillar came calling at his house at Eleko,ibeju Lekki Area, he had just moved in into his 3 bedroom apartment with his family when the bulldozers showed up like a joke to pull down his house, he had engaged a land agent who got the land and he started the construction that lasted 4 years.

He was convinced of the genuineness of the land when he saw other people building , he was at peace.

His thought was that those people building there must have done search, and the coast must be absolutely cleared, not knowing that the next square meter could either be in or out as the case may be. 

He joyfully moved in, thanked his God that the issue of rent payment was over until the unexpected and unpalatable happened, bulldozers came, in his presence, to pull down the results of his struggles of many years down, he wept unctrollably. 

His dreams were shattered, he was back to square one to begin again.

Do not, I repeat do not buy land without appropriate search, the stress you will go through after demolition is much more unbearable compared to what you will go through to carry out proper search.
